It makes me sad to think of an old church closing its doors. Particularly when it's a decision that has to be made because of a lack of parishioners and money. I guess it’s the thought of a place which was once brimming with people, bells and music declining to something that's just a shadow of its former glorious days. A place where people were christened, married and farewelled, holding so much of a community's history is soon to be gone.

Every audio production company has a slightly different way of working - in this series of blog posts we will briefly outline the process Hadfield Audio uses to record, edit and master audio in preparation for release on the Organism label.
At most recording sessions there are two people present in addition to the performers - the producer (Kyle Macdonald), and the engineer (Richard Apperley). In this post we will look at the role of the producer in the recording session.

Organism has embarked on an adventurous project to start off the New Year. I can't disclose too many details but I can tell you, it is utterly unique and spellbinding. I am pretty certain it has never been done before.
