About us

Organism is a specialist church and chamber music label for audio recordings (CD and digital) as well as printed music and books. Audio recordings released on the Organism label are primarily, but not exclusively, produced by Hadfield Audio. Organism was created to allow independent artists to record and release recordings with minimal costs and absolute control over the finished product.

This online store was created to serve the artists - the price of each CD is set by the artist, with the majority of the cost price going directly to the artist. Organism does not make any financial profit from this site - we only take a small percentage of each sale to cover postage and fees associated with running the site. The online store stocks CDs both on the Organism label, and also discs recorded by other New Zealand based organists and choirs.
